Winter Garden is experiencing significant development, bringing residents more amenities than ever before. At the same time, it is maintaining a quaint small-town charm that is endearing to many. There is a trio of restaurants coming to downtown Winter Garden. A new two-story mixed-use building is under construction that will house Matthews Steak House, Burger Craft, and 4 Locos.

Restaurants will occupy the first floor of the building and offices will take up the second floor. Additional administrative space is also included for the popular nearby Crooked Can Brewery. The three restaurant options hope to be open in their locations by the end of the year. Downtown Winter Garden’s rapid growth has facilitated this development.
Despite all that has changed over the years in Winter Garden, the area maintains its traditional feel. For instance, this particular 10,000-square-foot space is being fashioned after an old brick warehouse. Many buildings like it can be found lining a walkable downtown filled with shops. With its location just 15 miles from downtown Orlando, Winter Garden provides the opportunity to enjoy small-town life while still being attached to a big city.
The city offers historic homes and plenty of newer properties to fit any potential buyer’s taste. There are a variety of tremendous civic amenities to take advantage of as well. Winter Garden boasts three elementary schools and two middle schools that boast an A grade. West Orange High School services the area and it received a B grade last school year. The residents of Winter Garden can also stay fit via 22 miles of converted rail line. The West Orange Trail is a tremendous resource for walkers, runners, and cyclists.
Since Florida Hospital Winter Garden opened in 2016, the area’s citizens have had access to one of the top hospitals in the region. Florida Hospital Orlando and the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children are also nearby. Winter Garden has come a long way from its origins as a hub for the citrus industry. It is now an entertainment center with living essentials for all who call it home.
