Ocoee has new residential development coming to the city. The city commission approved construction of a new 10.91-acre development at their September 19th meeting. There will be 43 homes that makeup Ocoee Reserve. The property is located south of Silver Star Road, west of Good Homes Road and east of Johio Shores Road. Avex Homes are serving as the developer on the project. They already have ten communities located in Orlando and Tampa.
Avex will allow future residents to customize their homes. They are planning to officially break ground in November with designs on opening the $10 million project early this summer. Home buyers can select from six different floor plans that range in size from 1,600 to 2,800 square feet. The architectural styles will be Florida vernacular, traditional and Mediterranean.
Each home will include a two-car garage and backyard. Most of them feature two stories. Pricing on the units will begin at $200,000 and reach the high $200,000s at the top level. Some of the amenities residents will have access to include a playground and tot lot.
At the same meeting, Ocoee commissioners also approved new Arden Park development on Clarona-Ocoee Road. They are adding 116 homes in the 3A and 3B subdivisions.
