8,550 homes were sold in the region during the second quarter. The average sale price was up over nine percent to $282,166.

1. ZIP Code 34787

Winter Garden/Oakland

There were 512 single-family homes sold in this Winter Garden, which represented a 24.3% year-over-year change. The average sales price for this community was $345,546.

2. ZIP Code 34786

Windermere

Windermere is always one of Central Florida's most high-priced neighborhoods and homes went for an average of $428,459 in the second quarter. There were 352 homes sold and the area registered a 16.9% year-over-year change.

3. ZIP Code 32828

Waterford Lakes

This area located near the University of Central Florida has long been a high-growth community in Orange County. While there was no year-over-year change in Waterford, there were 316 homes sold at an average price of $288,618 in the second quarter.

4. ZIP Code 32765

Oviedo

On the other side of UCF lies the family neighborhood of Oviedo. There were 316 homes sold in the quarter at an average price of $306,762 for the first Seminole County location on the list.

Lake Mary/Heathrow

The 302 single-family homes sold in this ZIP code went for an average price of $344,585. The growth in the area represents a 10.2% year-over-year change.

Winter Springs/Tuscawilla

The ZIP Code 32708 covers several different communities. There were homes sold in the quarter at an average price of $261,866 in one of the more affordable areas on this list.

Sanford/Lake Forest

The fourth straight Seminole County ZIP code on this list saw a 5.56% year-over-year change. There were 266 homes sold at an average price of $267,788 in the second quarter.

MetroWest/Orlo Vista

MetroWest/Orlo Vista experienced just over a 1% year-over-year change. However, there were still 242 homes sold at an average price of $210,183.

Rio Pinar/Union Park

Despite experiencing an over 11% decrease in sales year-over-year, the communities in ZIP code 32825 still ranked inside the top ten. There were 242 homes sold in the quarter at an average price of $223,591.

10. ZIP Code 32712
Apopka

Apopka saw a year-over-year change of -6.59%. There were still 241 homes sold at an average price of $261,447.
