Windermere is getting some exciting new businesses in the area. Popular Central Florida-based restaurant chain, Hawkers Asian Street Fare and an Orangetheory Fitness Gym will soon be available to residents. Hawkers will be the newest eatery added to The Grove Orlando. Meanwhile, Orangetheory is going to be built in Summerport Village.

Hawkers made its debut in Orlando’s Mills 50 district in 2011. They currently have locations in Jacksonville, Neptune Beach and St. Petersburg with plans to expand throughout the Southeast in the coming years.

There is a new phase of The Grove Orlando being constructed by the Tavistock Development Company. It is expected to be finished in the fourth quarter of 2017. Hawkers have made to order Asian dishes with a twist. Their phase of The Grove Orlando will also feature a Starbucks and Regus location. Orangetheory already has a location in West Orange on Maguire Road in Ocoee. They operate in 45 states and ten countries.

Gymgoers at Orangetheory are offered one-hour workouts, with a focus on group sessions. They are separated into intervals of cardiovascular and strength training.

Depending on the client, training sessions can burn anywhere from 500 to 1,000 calories. They increase energy and burn more calories. No specific date has been designated for Orangetheory’s Windermere opening. The goal is it for to be built and open by year’s end.
